If you preferred the first one, message me and I'll post it again separately on my profile. Unfortunately neither scan is really an exact translation of the original, but for now this version is the best option, in my opinion.

I get tired of drawing straight-faced portraits of people and Gerard Way is such an interesting person, it feels weird not to draw unusual portraits of him!

i totally agree! i try to put his personality into my drawings of him. maybe on some sub concious level it feels better to do something different with him as he's an artist himself

Yeah, I really respect his work - musical and visual - so it would make sense for that to affect my image of him. There are tons of the typical celebrity photos of him out there but few of them say much about his personality, and I think he'd appreciate something different if he had a choice.
